Open Canned Food Tabs Without the Strain
Say goodbye to sore fingers, broken nails, and joint pain. The Tab Buddy XL is a simple but powerful tool designed to make opening canned food tabs effortless — perfect for fruit, soups, veggies, pet food, and more. It even works on drink cans.
Why You’ll Love It
- Assistive help where it’s needed most: Supports people with arthritis, hand weakness, tremors, or disabilities by giving leverage and control.

- Smooth, safe opening: Wraps fully around the can tab for a secure grip, then uses a built-in hook to peel lids back with ease.
- Always within reach: A hidden magnet keeps it on your fridge. Plus, a built-in keyring hole makes it portable with optional keychains or wrist straps.
- Cute + functional: Available in colorful designs that bring personality to your kitchen.

About This Design
The Disability Pride Flag was created to raise awareness, and has become a symbol of solidarity, acceptance and pride. Disability Pride Month is celebrated in the United States in July, the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
According to Columbia University, the original design was created by writer Ann Magill, who has cerebral palsy. The design was refined as a collaborative effort to better represent the community.
Each color stripe has a meaning:
- Red - physical disabilities
- Gold - neurodiversity
- White - invisible disabilities and disabilities that haven't yet been diagnosed
- Blue - emotional and psychiatric disabilities, including mental illness, anxiety, and depression
- Green - for sensory disabilities, including deafness, blindness, lack of smell, lack of taste, audio processing disorder, and all other sensory disabilities
The faded black background represents mourning and rage for victims of ableist violence and abuse. The diagonal band cuts across the walls and barriers that separate the disabled from society, also representing light and creativity cutting through the darkness.
Safety Note
The Tab Buddy XL contains a small internal magnet. Not for children under 3 years old. For children ages 3 and up, use only under adult supervision. If magnets are swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

Plastic seems a little cheap and the magnet seems to move when you use it
(I hear something moving inside assume its the magnet) other than that its juat as pictured
A great product. Saves my nails. Saves my wrist. And great gift for all my older friends. I open cat food cans everyday. What a blessing.
Meandmy husbandlove our tab buddies! He wanted to get a disability pride one as he's autistic. We'd love to see the autism flag added in the future! The tab buddy XL works wonders for us I'm so glad we bought it!
I have Ehlers Danlos and it really affects my hands and their dexterity. I was no longer able to open my cats’ wet food until getting the Tab Buddy XL. I’m now able to open cans without hurting my fingers. I love the design as well. The colors are vibrant.
great gift for my grandparents! they keep it on their fridge and use it to open canned food
